Excerpt | The author presents four lead seals from the Bucharest Arheological Institut „Vasile Pârvan”. The first seal was found at Noviodunum – Isaccea, Tulcea country, the great Roman-Byzantine center from the lower Danube. This is not the first seal found in this city. The other three were found in the archeological site perimeter from Nufăru, settlement known as medieval Prislava. This Byzantine seals listed below are both commercial and private and are dated between the 10th and the 13th century. |
