Abstract | The author presents a bronze coin preserved in his private collection. The coin was issued in Dionysopolis, but the iconography of the reverse is unusual for the issues of this city. Therefore, the author considers that this could be a coin issued during a period when the cities of Callatis, Tomis and Dionysopolis were allied, in the context of the territorial expansion of Dacia, which was ruled by the king Burebista. |
