Abstract	The author discusses in this paper the monetary circulation of the Celtic coins in Transdanubia area. The main purpose of the study is to identify the characteristics of small hoard finds and stray finds in order to obtain a clearer image about the monetary landscape during the first century B.C. The author observes a direct connection between the early use of coins in daily transactions and the oppida civilization.
