Abstract	This study presents a number of six brothel tokens used mostly at the end of the 19th century on the territory of the United States of America. Along with the catalogue of the tokens the paper also presents the context in which this specific type of pieces were used, dealing with the history of cowboys and consequently with the cattle driving and cattle towns phenomenon. As an important part of the United States of America history, some of the tokens were later issued in order to commemorate the saloons attended by the cowboys on their route.
