Excerpt	The topic of this article concerns the Celtic-Dacian coin-type named “Banat”. Following a brief introduction of the presence of these coins in the Şilindia hoard, we analyzed the relationship between the Banat coin-type and the so-called “Cladovo-Saschiz”, “Larissa-Apollo-Amphipolis”, “Criciova”, “cu cifre romane” şi “pre-Jiblea” coins. Finally, with the help of photography and digital drawing, for the 33 “Banat” coins from the hoard, were identified an equal numbers of obverse and reverse dies, twelve for each, which reflects a prolific issue with many variations.
